Rental agreement MUST BE SIGNED before access to the property will be granted. Use the hot tub AT YOUR OWN RISK. No pets allowed. We charge $400 for bringing a pet. No parties or large events allowed. NO smoking/vaping. We charge $400 for smoking/vaping. 6 people max allowed. This includes minors. The cabin has a metal roof. There is no attic. If a squirrel crawls on the roof, you will hear it. If it rains, you will hear it. If acorns fall, you will hear them. Wifi at the cabin has download speeds of 1,000 Mpbs. It is usually good but sometimes can be slower due to the location of the cabin. Our cabin is located in BLACK BEAR COUNTRY. There is a strong chance you will see a black bear during your stay. DO NOT FEED BEARS or leave trash with food scraps outside or in your vehicle as this will attract them. They have also been known to open unlocked vehicles. DO NOT go near the bear(s). The cabin is in a mountain setting. While the road is typically clear and accessible by any vehicle, winter weather is possible during certain months. Local roads can be snow covered, curvy, and steep. If your vacation is scheduled during the winter months, please come prepared to drive in the snow and/or ice to reach the cabin. We highly recommend 4-wheel drive and/or chains during winter events. REFUNDS WILL NOT BE GIVEN due to road conditions or power outages caused by inclement weather. We recommend travel insurance to cover these situations. Also, because the cabin is in the mountains, some guests have stated the driveway is too steep. We recommend backing up the driveway if your vehicle is equipped with a backup camera. There is also a faltter spot halfway up the driveway that guests tend to prefer to park at to unload. We have a monthly pest treatment of the inside/outside of the cabin, but it is located in the mountains so we do share their habitat.
